Do I need to stop taking my medication?

In preparation for your appointment we ask you to stop taking antihistamines 7 days before your appointment.  Antihistamines are allergy tablets such as Reactine, Allegra, Aerius, Claritin, Cetirizine, Rupall, Blexten and Benadryl.  If you are unsure if your medication is an antihistamine ask your pharmacist.

If you take cold and flu medications check the medical ingredients on the box to ensure it doesn't contain  antihistamines.  Usually found in the night time formulas.

Continue to take nasal sprays, eye drops, inhalers, Singulair or Montelukast, as well as any other medication you take for other conditions.

How long will my appointment be?

Your appointment will be 30 to 45 minutes.

Do I need to change anything before or after my appointment?

You can eat prior to your appointment.  Eating does not affect our testing.

After your appointment you may return to your normal routine.
